Who else wants to know if acai berry is a hoax? I did. Want to know why? Whenever something seems to good to be true, my gut tells me it probably is, right? I’m sure you are the exact same way. But with so many different incredible endorsements, especially from news outlets and celebrities I respected, I knew it was time to start looking a little bit closer. Here is what I learned, and how you can avoid getting scammed at all costs while investing in your youth, health and overall wellness with acai berry.

Tip #1: You Will Never Get Real Acai Fruit, So Don’t Even Try ( Unless you Fly to Brazil)

My first thought was that anything that wasn’t the real fruit itself was going to be a scam. I was wrong, because acai berry has a very fast spoilage threshold. This only means that if you don’t get the fruit within 24 hours, it’s usually no good. The key takeaway here is to make sure you get genuine acai extract, or freeze dried, as there are companies who have mastered a very efficient process in place to make sure you get ALL the benefits of the fruit, in extract or concentrated form.

Tip #2: Only Consume Organic Acai Berry, or Acai That is Certified By an Outside Source to be Authentic

In other words, the color of the bottle, or the juice is not a true measurement of what you’re getting. Any legitimate, authentic distributor of Acai Berry ( of which there are only a few) will be more than happy to tell you how much Acai is in every serving. They will also have this information provided, or certified by an outside party or auditor, rather than telling you to take their word for it..:-)

Bonus Tip: Never buy without a free trial, or a legitimate return policy in place. Never buy from a company that puts famous celebrities on their website or packaging, UNLESS that celebrity has specifically endorsed their particular product! (most of the famous celebrities, I discovered, love acai berry as the super food of the century- but haven’t endorsed any specific product or company)
